Directions

By public transport

Birmingham New Street train station connects Birmingham with the national rail network. From there, trains to the station "University [UNI]" leave usually every ten minutes from platform 12. The journey takes approximately seven minutes.

From the University train station, it is an approximate eight-minute walk to our offices at the Quantum Hub in building "Metallurgy and Materials" (G6 on the campus map) on Pritchatts Road. The Hub office space and our labs are located on the second floor.

As alternative to trains, buses X20, X21, and X21 (stopping on Pritchatts Road near the Metallurgy and Materials building; stop "University North Gate") and buses 63 and X61 (stopping on Bristol Road in proximity to Physics East) connect the campus with Birmingham New Street train station.

By plane

Birmingham Airport has its own train station, "Birmingham International", which links the airport with Birmingham New Street station. From there, you can follow the instruction for how to reach us with public transport.

Alternatively, a taxi may take approximately 30 min from the airport to the University campus.
